Columbia University Libraries has launched an enhanced and expanded version of Digital Scriptorium, the online visual catalog of medieval and renaissance manuscripts.
09/01/06 Columbia's Rare Book and Manuscript Library Acquires Early Thirteenth-Century Mansucript Bible
Digital images of this manuscript are available on the website of the Digital Scriptorium, a cross-institutional digital image database of medieval and Renaissance manuscripts hosted by the Columbia Libraries.
05/20/04 Columbia University Libraries Awarded NEH Grant for Digital Scriptorium Project
Under the two-year grant, the online project will move from its current home at the University of California, Berkeley, to Columbia. Jean Ashton, Director of the Rare Book and Manuscript Library, is the principal investigator on the grant.
